PREPARING YOUR FILES FOR PRINTING.

We encourage you to provide us with both a high-res print PDF (PDF-X1A) is the best and your native files (just in case). Make sure that you name your document accordingly so that both of us know who it belongs to, maybe a unique size and what it is.

A good example is: INKSPT_winter2011flyer_11x17.pdf

*Make sure to select crop marks and bleed (.125 in) when making PDF-X1A. All good page layout files have an option for making a pdf. Make sure that you preview and print out your PDF before sending to assist with any potential problems.

When sending your native files, use the collect for output option. This will collect all your fonts, support files and original document. The document should also give you warnings if you do not have fonts loaded, are using RGB, or are missing a support graphic. Please use some kind of compression software on your files so they don't get corrupted during internet transfer. Macintosh users - Stuffitâ„¢ (www.stuffit.com/mac-expander) and Windows users either Stuffitâ„¢ (www.stuffit.com/win-expander) or WinZip (www.winzip.com/win/en/index).
